The lighting design helped invigorate new life into this 1960s shopping center. With the renovation, the skating rink bacame the biggest attraction at the center court at Oregon's largest mall. The skylights and use of maximum daylighting plays a key role in the lighting with integrated controls while at night the lighting takes on a quiet ambiance to let individual storefronts take center stage.
