In this stunning student center renovation, two bold architecture firms came together to reshape this 1960’s era, four-story concrete structure into a contemporary Learning Commons at the heart of a downtown campus.
At night, the internal glow and supporting exterior accent and pathway lighting meld to create a beacon for students. In the interior, light balances daylight and accents structure. The harmonious interplay of light, structure, and open space provide a welcome relief to the confinement of the classroom.
The renovation injected new life into this facility, making it welcoming and energizing to students, staff, and visitors alike.
