Sited below-grade, this laboratory building for nanotechnology research houses analytical equipment and other research facilities that are particularly sensitive to vibrations, electrical and magnetic fields, and other environmental disruptions. The project is part of a larger-scale effort to develop integrative science facilities within the UO science complex that encourage collaboration and interaction across and within traditional disciplines.
