Microsoft’s Building 16/17 was designed to create connections between people, buildings, and technology. To encourage communication, we put giant color-changing luminous cubes in the entry lobbies and incorporated interactive lighting into staircases. In the workspaces, we featured lighting elements that stimulate collaboration and creativity.
