To encourage visitors to connect with nature while minimizing the use of natural resources, our lighting design included daylight harvesting and light shields to minimize light pollution. We chose shielded light fixtures to preserve “dark skies” and minimize light pollution. Daylight harvesting reduces the electric lighting loads while the use of natural light creates beautiful interiors connected to the outdoors by amazing views. The light throughout is soft, intentional and used only where it is needed.
