Originally an elementary school, this 100 year old building is the new home of the University's Departments of Fine Arts and Architecture. An integrated lighting system was designed to incorporate energy efficient luminaires such as automatic, daylight-based continuous dimming systems in classrooms, and occupancy sensor controls in private offices and conference rooms. This state of the art university building has won three design awards since its re-opening in 2008, including the Portland Chapter Architectural Institute of America's only sustainability award.
