- Situated near the iconic Gas Works Park and the Burke-Gilman Trail, the primary design goal was flexible, user-controlled lighting that complements a spectacular city view.
- Lighting was designed with first impressions in mind. Exposed infrastructure and striking fit-out serve as a lure for creative talent.
- Per the client’s request for “magical lighting”, Luma utilized unusually-shaped corridors, niches, decorations, and reflective surfaces to provide subtle sophistication and surprise. Carefully selected decorative luminaires and backlit walls contribute meaningful illumination wherever possible.
- With one-third of open office spaces being subterranean, lighting and control strategies needed to bridge the gap in moving from both daylight and non-daylight environments in order to be effective.
