C-Tran 99th Street Transit Station

Vancouver, Washington

Architect:Waterleaf Architects
Owner:Clark County Transit
  • We provided exterior lighting design for this iconic C-Tran park-and-ride station in Vancouver, Washington.
  • The station features wood-decked passenger shelters which glow warmly from ceramic discharge metal-halide (CDM) lamps within asymmetric reflector uplights.
  • The system of shelters provide a comfortable waiting area for passengers and a strong visual presence from adjacent Interstate 5.
  • The project owner’s primary goals were safety and security. With our partner Waterleaf Architects, we added beauty and comfort as guiding design principals.
